09/27/2006  --   The beer is so wonderfully smooth, and with the compliment of outstanding food, and authentic atmosphere, that I just don't think you are going to find better beer.     The Munich Weizen had a distinct feel of cloves and a subtle banana flavor, but no one overpowered the beer.  The Dunkel didn't have any aftertaste and was very light tasting, don't let the name or the look fool you.  The light was not any light that you would expect to find here, as it had a very fresh and inviting crispness to it, that you would never find in a domestic beer.  There was a champagne quality to the beer.  The Premium lager was a good beer that would probably go well before a Bengal or Reds game, to be sure.  No trip to Cincinnati would be complete without a trip the Hofbrau.   This place has to have the highest possible honor that I can bestow on it.  Any brewer would pride themselves on being able to match the greatness of the beer in this establishment.  Great job!    -Bottletree
