Takes Second in Irish Ale Category of the 2009 Puget Sound Pro-Am

06/07/2009 -- A year and three months after updating the brewery to better enable competition, BottleTree^TM came through, with a second place finish in the 2009 Puget Sound Pro-Am. in the Irish Red Ale category.  There isn't a category for Irish Red, with a stronger OG, as there is for many other beer styles. So, taking some chances for some deductions with higher gravity, paid off.  There are no bottles left; I guess that is why there is always that next batch, and the continual pursuit of that perfect beer.
