Simplest Bread 

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE


Ingredients:

  • 2 (12 fluid ounce) BottleTree Belgian Blonde Beers
  • 3 cups self-rising flour
  • 1/3 cup white sugar

 

 

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the sugar and flour. Add one room temperature 12 oz BottleTree Blonde beer (live Belgian yeast) and continue to mix using a wooden spoon. Batter will be sticky.  Pour into a 9x5 inch greased loaf pan.
  3. Pop open the other chilled BottleTree Blonde to enjoy as you let the dough sit for 30 minutes.
  4. Bake at 350 F for 50 to 60 minutes. Brush with butter and sprinkle with garlic salt half-way through baking, and repeat after removing from oven.  The top will be crunchy, and the inside will be soft. Serve topped with butter, garlic salt, cheese or honey (or anything else that you enjoy).
